Amazing night!
A couple of hours before the show, I tweeted Dermot Kennedy asking if I could meet him afterwards, not expecting a reply. He surprised me by responding "Sure!" I was amazed that he would reply, let alone agree to meet. His opening act, though good, kept involving the audience which became a bit annoying. The show was just as entertaining as on TV but even funnier live. After some back-and-forth tweets post-show, Dermot arranged for me and my friend to meet him in his dressing room. We chatted for about 15 minutes, took a picture, and enjoyed the chill atmosphere with Santana music playing and Dermot smoking a cigar.
